Hey-

Now that I’m 12, and I’m going into Secondary School there is a lot on my mind. Since none of my previous classmates are coming to my new school, I’m quite nervous about going into a whole new world, Will people like me? Not being with my best friend is going to be weird, Even though we said we will keep in contact it won’t be the same, I think we both know that it won’t be. On the other hand when I met my new classmates I could already see the cliques, The Populars who wear designer clothes and seem to walk around with an air of confidence, The ones that think they’re popular and wear skimpy clothes and are too loud and always looking for attention, the quiet ones that barely speak, the sporty ones’ that are too fast and seem to have the best sports gear and then there’s the odd two best friends that don’t have a care in the world. The problem is I can’t see myself fitting in with any of them. Sure, most of them are nice it’s just none of them are really ‘my type’. Normally I would just casually walk over to the boys that are all laughing and smiling, but since my parents and sending me off to an all girls school, I can’t really do that, can I? I don’t see why my parents couldn’t send me to the local schools? The ones all my friends are going to. I mean I guess it gives me a fresh start no one can say about all my embarrassing incidents that happened in the last 8 years of primary school.Don’t worry I’m not saying I’m not looking forward to Secondary School, these are just some of the challenges I’ll have to face.All I know about my new school is I’m going to keep away from the girls that smile when you’re there and then talk about you behind your back.
